Zaan Costin has returned to the Plantation after years on assignment for the Coven tracking down rogue vampires. Master Stone has called back in his best of the best. He is serious about security at the Plantation after the near successful attack on his chosen Quinn. Zaan sees the newly bonded couples and thinks longingly for a moment about what his own chosen will be like. His first night back he is dispatched to the woods to aid a lost camper, but the situation quickly becomes so much more dangerous. He must save his chosen and convince the man that he is safe in Zaan’s arms. Can he find his for now and his forever?

I've read different reviews and I've decided that some of the negative were too harsh and I needed to tell others of the wonderful world of the Crimson Coven.Yeah, there are some grammar and punctuation errors but I was able to easily overlook those because of the passion exhibited was pure and fierce. I was able to continue reading because of the storyline. It wasn't forced. Quick but not forced.
The quickness was due in large part to the "mate pull" or the "chosen pull" if you will. Would anyone be able to deny it? The thing I love about this series is that men know what they want and they don't go back and forth with if they should be with someone. Sure...Brice had inner turmoil but who wouldn't? If a female was the MC, we would've had to wait a few hundred pages and listening to inner dialogue of if she should and if she shouldn't.
B.A. Stretke cuts all of that BS out and gets to the meat of what we want to read. Granted, some people like the angst and the hemming and hawing of MC's. I do not and I thank the author for giving us a series that we can enjoy from start to finish.
I've read and re-read this series and I can't wait until it's finish. Praise Jesus I bought the books so I can enjoy it over and over again.

I really enjoyed this third book in the Crimson Coven series. The beginning was full of emotion, torment, and action. Arlon was a bully, a villain, a dangerous coward, who let a select set of men see his true personality. Only those he tormented saw the real man. The Beast in a prankster's facade. And he wasn't even a shifter! Just a 100% sociopathic / psychopathic Menace to whomever he targeted. And unfortunately for Brice he was the one that Arlon has set his sights on.
A young man down on his luck after being tossed from the family business, so that his stepfather could hand over the reigns to his irresponsible son. Brice was only given 24 hours to vacate the room he lived in his parents' house. Oh Yeah his parents were real sweethearts0(. His friends were little better. What hurt more than being kicked out of the house was losing management of the family's jewelry store where he'd worked for over the past six years once he turned 16 years old. He had worked there faithfully, being the dutiful son, and learned the trade and still it didn't make any difference once his stepfather's prodigal son returned.
Zaan newly appointed to his security posting at the Crimson Coven plantation comes across an injured and defenseless Human. He immediately realizes he has a strong maybe permanent connection to the young man and vows not to allow the man who hurt Brice another opportunity.
The pampering at the Crimson Manor house Brice receives startles him. He's not used to such lavish treatment or accommodations. Zaan can't believe he's found his Chosen. Soldiers usually didn't.. He is hesitated in explaining the Paranormal world to his Chosen. And it cost him dearly. Brice is shocked by what he believes is a Vampire, but that's nothing compared to the DRAGON!! He is in shock, but is Zaan's presence making matters better or worse?
This is an entertaining book. Quite enjoyable and much better understood when read in series order. Some of the other characters from the two previous books are central to this story line. You ought to enjoy the story if you hate bullies, love Vampire / Human romances, and the possibility of future members of the Coven finding their very own Chosen in future books.
I just LOVE all B.A. Stretke's book and I wish the author was twins, no triplets, so they could put out even more books! This was charming and interesting and fun, and a great way to take a break from the stresses of real life. Let's just clone B.A., cause I want more books like this!
An occasional grammar error is one thing, but this book is full of run-on sentences, fragments and other grammar errors. Two stars also because of the simple sentences.
Love this author's work. The characters are always unique and different.
Brice is cute and sweet but stuck in a job going no where. But with work required weekend he thinks it will be dull, but fate has a plan sending him right to his loves arms. As with all relationships there are bumps in the road but HEA is just what Brice gets in the end. This is a sweet read I loved it.
I like the storylines Mr. B.A Stretke writes. But this book could had a little more to it really. The first two books were great. This one just fell a little short for me.
